John Nutt has requested your presence at 7.30am on Friday July 29th in the main bar
An early tipple to start your day, and set you on your way.
The bus leaves at 9am sharp, so don't be late
You are requested to bring your own Picnic, Drinks for the journey, and a chair to fall off of
An ode to you
It may be early, it may be not
You can drink a little, or drink a lot
But when you go to board the bus
Just take your seat, and don't make a fuss
You can't just drink, the odd one or two
If that's what you think, this trip's not for you
The jabbering wreck that wobbles in the seat
Is only the driver, so smile when you meet
I'm glad I'm not the one to take you there and back
Knocking back your Vodka, gin, Brandy or Jack
The bus will be rocking with piss-heads galore
Incoherent drunkards singing on the floor
Manner's are forgotten, or simply left behind
Betting slips are duff, horses you backed were blind
Please, don't be empty headed, an idiot or a clot
Make the day your best one, give it your best shot
Be merry, be happy, be drunk on the booze
However your horses do, some you'll win, some you'll lose
