ANTI RACISM POLICY

 

View this email in your browser Caversham Working Men's Social Club Dear members, Due to a recent racist incident at the club the committee has decided that our members need to be made aware of the anti racist stance that will now be enforced at the club. There is no place for racism in our club. Don't fool yourself that you are not a racist if you use derogatory racist language. Make yourself aware as to what is acceptable behaviour and speech. This should apply to any group of people that can be victimised, e.g. BAME, LGBTQ+. Don't let yourself down, don't let the club down. We are researching to find information leaflets to be available at the club for educational purposes. Various posters will be put up at the club to re-enforce how serious the club will be taking any racist incidents. Please take time to read the posters. The following poster details the club policy on handling all racist offences.
