View this email in your browser Caversham Working Men's Social Club Good Afternoon Gentlemen Here is some information for August Quiz Night Tuesday August 1st is Quiz Night with Guy & Dave - Your regular monthly Quiz starts as usual at 8pm - £1 per player - Maximum 6 players per team Goodwood A reminder to those members who are making the yearly trek to Goodwood Races - The coach will leave the club at 9am on Friday 4th August - You will be able to gain access to the club from 7.30am to make ready for the trip - So don't be late, cos the coach won't wait Seniors Afternoon Wednesday August 16th is the next date for Seniors afternoon - George Talbot as usual will be your host with the most - Starts at 2pm - food & entertainment supplied - Ends at 5pm Guest Ale We had recently added a guest ale to one of the cask pumps - Boondogglewas the first - Bombardier Amber Bitter is the second - Its on line now  - so come in and try it - we think you'll like it Talking of ales - I didn't realise until recently that the cooler was not working efficiently - After some complaints about slightly warm beer, we needed to investigate - So a new cooler has been put in place - And now! a constant temperature of 9 degrees has meant that the ales are now at pristine condition for your palate - Enjoy!! Golf Day Out Don't forget about the Golf Day Out - On the ball with this one is  Ken Hanson - He has arranged for a day out on the Mapledurham Golf Coarse - First tee is at 12 midday - £38 will give you Coffee, Bacon Roll and one round of 18 holes - Brilliant! - That's at least 18 chances to loose your ball!
