View this email in your browser Caversham Working Men's Social Club Good Afternoon Gentlemen As this is my first email of 2023 - I won't bore you with any of my jokes - I'm just going to wish you & your family all the best for the new year Ok, here is the latest news from our club Alan Clinch Alan's funeral will be held at the Reading Crematorium on Henley road at 1.45pm on Tuesday 10th January - The club will hold a wake for Alan at 2.30pm after the funeral - Anyone may attend - food will be served Alan Bowley Alan's funeral will be an unattended funeral - The club will hold a wake for Alan at 2pm on Friday 13th January - Anyone may attend - food will be served Brian Verney We have been informed that Brian passed away on Boxing Day - Brian was a member of the crib team for many years - as yet, we have no details concerning his funeral - I will pass on details as soon as I receive them RIP Brian Verney Fish 'N' Chip Night On Saturday 21st January  it's Fish 'N' Chip Night - So you need to be quick on this one - It starts at 7.30pm with food at 8.15pm - Cost is £6 per person - There is a list behind the bar Senior's afternoon Following the great success of the first event last year - Seniors Afternoon's will be held on a Wednesday afternoon every other month - your first event is on 15th February That's all for now!!
