We have quite a few members who have not yet renewed.

 

Please spread the word.

 

If you have not renewed your membership, you have until the end of February to do so, with added fees. After that date you will have to re-apply.

 

 The rate is as follows:

 

Members under 65:	£25.00
Members 65 and over:	£20.00

 

+£5 late fee if renewing in February

 

Subscriptions can be paid at the Bar

Afternoons & Evenings.

 

Subscriptions will not be available after 8pm on Friday evenings

Seniors afternoon will be on Wednesday 21st February - Please note the following All Senior Club Members are Free to attend - Just add your name to the list behind the bar Any Non-Member attending, there will be a small fee of £2 - Please add your name to the list and pay when doing so Six Nations Rugby starts on Friday 2nd February with France taking on Ireland in the opening game of the tournament Quiz Night is Tuesday 6th February Sad News!! We have been informed by Caroline Langdon of the passing of ex-club member Roy Wilcox - As yet there are no details about the funeral - Roy became a non-member in 2022 - Some of you may have known him - Our condolences to Roy's Family and friends Rip Roy Wilcox We have also been informed of the sad loss of our longest serving member - Ronald Doe was member number (1) - Ron passed away on the 19th January at the age of 91 - We have sent our condolences to his wife Joyce - Daughter Sue and son Steve Rip Ronald Doe That's all for now! Good Afternoon Gentlemen Wishing you all a Happy and Joyous New Year Following a very busy December - I'd like to thank everyone who contributed to the successful December Program A special thanks to all the staff who worked tirelessly to give an outstanding service to our members In January we have Fish and Chip Night - But first its the Quiz Night Tonight is the first quiz of 2024 - It starts at the usual time of 8pm On Saturday 13th its fish and chip night - The list is behind the bar - closing date is Thursday 11th January Remember: Membership Fees are now due - You may collect your card from today! - £25 for Under 65s and £20 for Over 65s That's all for now

Good Day Gentlemen and a very Happy New Year, Please note that the annual membership renewal subscription is due from the Tuesday 2nd January, 2024. Renewal Fees can be paid and Membership Cards are available for pick up from the bar on the Tuesday 2nd January, 2024. Please renew by handing over your till card so that we can link payment to your membership. Fees have changed since last year - £25.00         under 65 £20.00         65+ You will still be able to renew in February, but will be charged an additional late fee of £5. Members who have not renewed by the end of February will have their membership cancelled and will have to go through an application to re-join. The membership is full at this time, but this could change by the end of February. We now have a waiting list of 120 people which will mean that it will become harder to re-join. If you are receiving this email because you are on the waiting list then you will be contacted in March for an invite to join, if there is space available. The club has worked hard to keep renewal prices competitive. However, we have had to make an increase in 65+ due to the increasing number of that age range. We have to get AGM approval to raise the £25 limit for membership. This will be on the 2024 AGM agenda. We would like to thank you all for renewing in a timely manor as this really does help the club keep prices down. It is great value. Please do visit the club to pay your renewal subscription and pick up your new membership card by the end of January 2024. Cheques are not accepted. If you now anyone who will not be able to attend the club due to unforeseen circumstance then please do let me know. Some members will not see this renewal request. Please do spread the word to the other members to help remind them. Note: Renewals are not available after 8pm on Fridays. A Reminder of upcoming events

George Talbot brings you another night of social gossip, games and laughter - Saturday 18th is Fish'n'Chip night - You need to add your name to the list behind the bar and pay only £6 per person - You only have until Thursday 16th to put your order in

With card Bingo - Quiz and a Raffle - Its going to be another great social evening 

The Children's Xmas party on the 10th of December is well underway - The Children's list is now full

For those who have not been able to add their Children to the list and would still like them to see Santa - They Can - If you purchase your own present - bring it to the club with their name and age - we will wrap it and add it to Santa's list - There is only a maximum of 10(Ten) of these special places - A list for these children will be with the bar staff - There will be no more opportunities to see Santa once this list is full

We have put together a great day of entertainment for your children - along with our regular Face Painter Cathy, we have arranged for a Magician to entertain the little tykes - He has many years of service and is a professional children's entertainer

The Projector in the function room is not working - TV Sport is only available in the main bar and smoking area - Apologies for the inconvenience
