Good Morning Gentlemen We have recently been informed of the passing of fellow club member Dave Passmore Dave passed away 1 week ago after losing his battle with cancer He was affectionately know by his friends as (Scouse Dave)  His funeral will be held at the Henley Road Crematorium on Monday 14th October at 1pm Dave will be very much missed by all who knew him RIP Dave Passmore Kind Regards Dave Alder Club Secretary

View this email in your browser Caversham Working Men's Social Club Good Afternoon Gentlemen Fish and chip night is fast approaching - Saturday 28th - Starts at 7pm - However, you only have until closing time on Thursday 26th to order your meal - A choice of Sausage - Chicken or Fish - You need to add your name to the list behind the bar and pay £7 Quiz Night is on Tuesday 1st October with Guy and Bill - Starts at 8pm - £1 per player Live music from 'Blagabond' is on Saturday 5th at 8pm Saturday 12th sees more live music with 'Carbon copy' 8pm start Saturday 19th sees the return of the beetles and Buddy Holly Tribute with Dave Horton 7.30 start Seniors Afternoon is on Wednesday 23rd - The list will be made available after fish and chip night And finally to end this fantastic month of entertainment we have the children's Halloween Party - So dress up as scary as you can and join us for food and music - It starts at 6pm on Saturday 26th until 10pm That's All For Now! Good Morning Gentlemen "Today I gave away all my dead batteries - Free of charge" Its gonna be a busy month ahead - So here are some diary dates for September Tuesday 3rd is Quiz Night with Guy & Dave - Starts at 8pm - £1 per player - Maximum 6 players per team Saturday 14th - Jim Day's Groovin' Nite - This is a great evening of music & dancin' - So come on in and let your hair down for a few hours "I have to say - The rotation of the earth really makes my day" Saturday 28th - Fish & Chip Night - Put your name on the list behind the bar - £7 per person - Choose from sausage, fish or chicken Saturday 21st - Trevor's Jolly Boys Jaunt to Portsmouth has now been CANCELLED due to low numbers - Any payments made will be behind the bar for pickup from Wednesday 4th And Jesus said "Come forth and receive eternal life" But John came fifth and won a toaster That's All For Now!
