The Accounts have been duly audited and signed, and the Mr. Mark Ferriss will present his report at the Annual General Meeting to be held as stated below. Good Morning Gentlemen We are currently looking for Members to join the Club Committee If you feel passionate about this club and would like to help other Members to enjoy the facilities and events that we offer, then you could be one of the Members we are looking for Making decisions that affect the way the club is operated is the priority of the Committee - It is also a responsibility of care, the future planning of events and encouraging financial growth for the long term survival of the club - It is also a fun place to be when the meeting go well It is very important for the club to have a full committee If you would like to join us there is a list of nominees on the notice board - You will need a proposer and a seconder - Write these names on the list alongside yours Please don't leave it for others to put their names forward - If you do, then no one will add their name to the list - WE NEED YOU Guest Ale We've done a 'proper job' of changing the guest ale - Tribute has been replaced with PROPER JOB - I have no idea what it tastes like, but I have been assured that it's a good 'un That's All For Now!! Good Afternoon Gentlemen Upcoming Events for your diary Groovin' Nite Jim 'The Syrup' Day will be spinning the tunes on Saturday 27th April - Its always a great night of music and dancing when Jimmy's magic fingers touch the decks of mayhem & bliss - Tunes to get you rocking in your shoes Quiz Night As always the first Tuesday of the month is our fun fact Quiz Night - So on the 7th May, Guy & Dave will be on the waffle-mike - Its a great social event for everyone - So come on down to the club if you think your brain is worth the drain - Its always a fun night out Fish'n'Chips Yeah! Fish'n'Chip Night is on Saturday 11th May - The list is behind the bar as usual - £7 per person - A choice of Fish - Chicken or Sausage - Get your order in by Thursday 9th May Buddy Night On Saturday 18th May the club presents a great evening of live music from the talented Dave 'The Beetle' Horton - Songs from the Beetles & Buddy Holly is the theme for this event - Its his first appearance at the club - So lets give him a warm welcome - Its a great night in prospect for Club Members & their guests A.G.M. The Annual General Meeting is on Wednesday 22nd May - Only Members can enter the Club during this time - Starts at 8pm - Any Proposals should be sent to the Club Secretary no later than Monday 13th May That's All For Now!! Gentlemen, The Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday 22nd May 8.00pm.  Please note, this is a members only event – the club will be closed to non-members. At the AGM the new committee will be voted in.  All Nominations for Committee must have a Proposer & Seconder.  Any proposals for rule changes/additions/deletions should be advised to the committee by the 13th May, 2024. Any AGM Agenda items should be advised to the committee by the 13th May, 2024.. Any nominations for Committee Membership should be advised to the committee by the 13th May, 2024. The Agenda and Balance Sheet and Statement of Accounts for the year ending 31st December 2023 will be available online by Wednesday 8th, May. You will be notified.
